Necklace Organizer

Yesterday when I walked in my room and saw this old hanger I decided to give it a new look and use. I had had enough of the dogs looking at me for the past 5 years. 

Since I was going to give it a new coat of paint I had to remove the old coat. I did that with a piece of sand paper.

After removing the paint I made sure to brush away any dust as it may mix with the paint. 

Now that I had a removed all of the previous paint and dust I painted two coats of red acrylic paint and let it to dry.

I felt that one colour was too boring so I decided to make it nicer. I stuck some masking tape so I can make lines with other colours. It helps if you press on the tape to make sure there aren't any air bubbles trapped. By doing so you can get cleaner lines.

Now paint away with the colour of your choice.
 I chose a yellowish colour.

 Gently strip away the tape, leave to dry and then hang your necklaces. Voila!! It's ready. Now you have a new place to organize your jewelery.

I find this very useful as I didn't have a place to put my necklaces and I usually placed them wherever and can't find them in the last minute.
