Angel Face Cloth | The Konjac Sponge Co

the konjac sponge co review, charcoal and bamboo angel face wash cloth,

My skin is currently going through a very terrible time of bumps and pimples so I was very happy when The Konjac Sponge Company got in contact with me. This company is the original and leading supplier of Konjac sponges and can be found in stores all over the world including luxury stores such as Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Fenwick.

the konjac sponge co review, charcoal and bamboo angel face wash cloth,

These sponges originate from South Korea and are 100% natural and mineral rich. Each sponge is made out of vegetable fibres and the company boasts a vegan and cruelty-free range. There are sponges for each skin type which is always important when it comes to buying products suitable for your skin. Unlike other copies, these sponges are free of nasty chemicals and dyes.

The bamboo charcoal Angel Face washcloth* (£12.99) is their newest product which was launched after the success of the original washcloth. This skin-friendly alternative to a flannel or washcloth is infused with activated charcoal powder. Charcoal helps to draw out dirt and bacteria from open pores and it is therefore, most suitable for spot prone and oily skin.

Once soaked this becomes soft and jelly-like which is a texture that's new to me. Below you can find a clip of the sponge being soaked for the first time to give you an idea of how it works. It can be used alone but I prefer to use it with other facial care products. I either use it to work in my face wash or to remove face masks. My skin feels amazing after I use it to remove masks such as The Body Shop tea tree oil mask and The Body Shop blue corn mask. This way it will remove all the old skin cells by providing a gentle exfoliation. After using you only need to rinse it, carefully squeeze out the water and hang it to dry. I usually place it over a clean glass cup to reduce the chances of it going mouldy. If used correctly the cloth can last up to 3 months.

I have been using it for around two weeks and I can already say that I love it! It leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft and oil free. I definitely recommend checking out this sponge if you have oily skin like me or pick up the original which is suitable for all skin types. Apart from washcloths The Konjac Sponge Co also have body, facial, tattoo and even dog sponges available so you will surely find one that you like.

  30. This sounds great for exfoliation! I used to only exfoliate my face once a week using one of those scrubs, but the dead skin has been coming on quite quick lately, so I have to exfoliate a few times a week now. I've never tried these sponges before but it sounds like just what I need! It sounds more delicate than a scrub as well :) Great review! xx
