I picked up the jelly flower lipstick* in the shade number 2 cherry which is a lovely pinkish red. There are also two other shades available, one is light pink and the other is orange. The lipstick is packaged in a clear pink tube with gold details which I find to be very pretty. The first thing that you notice about the lipstick is that there is an actual flower in the see trough product that I would describe as being jelly like! Apparently it's a black chrysanthemum flower as this is what the packaging states. The scent of the lipstick is very sweet and floral and it kind of reminds me of a shaved ice flavour that I used to have.
The site lists the lipstick as being moisturising, non stick and colour changing according to body temperature which I found to be really interesting. Upon applying it goes on glossy but mattifies a little bit after a few minutes. It glides on smoothly on the lips and doesn't feel drying at all. The best way that I can describe the texture is silky.
Now onto the colour changing part which I was a bit sceptical about and to be completely honest I still am. I don't see a lot of change in the shade apart from it going a bit redder after a few minutes. But with that said, it is still buildable and the longevity is amazing. It works great as a stain since the tint stayed on my lips for a whole day.
If you would like to pick this up or any other item from the site, this is the time to do it since Banggood have huge Black Friday sales going on. This lipstick is currently only £3.25 and free shipping!

it's very similar to the Kailijumei jelly flower lipstick! x

I agree!
DeleteI really want one of these, the tiny flower inside is so pretty, the shade you picked is lovely

Definitely recommend this shade!
DeleteThis is such an unusual lipstick! I wonder if the flower adds anything to it or if they just wanted it to be something different from what we usually see. The colour comes out really pretty on your swatch, even though this is not a shade of pink that would suit anybody in my opinion. It's still a pretty lipstick, it's great you've had the chance to try it out! :)

I think that the flower is more of a decoration rather than beneficial. It actually looks really nice on my lips as it looks redder after it fades a little. I'll try to include a photo of me wearing it :)
DeleteOh wow. This is absolutely gorgeous and SO unique too! I adore the concept and of course the beautiful colour - so pretty. What a great post too. Loved reading about this.

DeleteI cannot believe how affordable this jelly lipstick is!!! Looks so beautiful and I love the shade. Haven't tried a jelly lipstick before and I think I would have tried the lighter pink, this one looks nice but too intense for me! x

It looks so pretty, I wouldn't even want to use it, I thought it would be more of a tinted lip balm than a stain so that's quite impressive. I love the colour, thanks for sharing!

I'm really intrigued by this lipstick as the packaging and texture sound really unique. I know that my Dior Lip Glow tend to adapt its colour to my body temperature, at least I think so as the colour varies from light, sheer red to a light, sheer pink depending on the days, but it is true that this claim always seems as a little bit too gimmicky to me (even though I love my Dior Lip Glow).
