If you read my last post on January Favourites, you might know about Deborah from the blog Distorted Priorities. Today we decided to team up again. She will create a day to night makeup transformation while I have put together this outfit which is perfect for going out on Valentine's day.
The main item in my outfit is the embroidered mini skirt* from Zaful. I'm sure that you all remember that I was obsessed with embroidery last summer so it won't come as a surprise when I say that I love this skirt! The details on it are so beautiful and definitely make the skirt a statement piece. For the top, I wanted to go for something simpler so I picked up this Zaful velvet cropped top*. The lace up sleeve looks so lovely on the top and the velvet texture goes perfectly with the whole outfit. I put on my go to loafers which are very comfortable and are an alternative to wearing heels. To finish off the look I threw one this brick red duffel coat which I think is a great colour for Valentine's day and ties in perfectly with the red embroidery details on the skirt.
