Hello everyone! I hope that you all had a lovely time over the Easter weekend and ate your body weight in chocolate eggs - that's what I did anyway! In today's post I will be reviewing a blackhead face mask from Banggood.

Blackhead face masks have been very popular in the last months and I have read a lot of reviews about them. Therefore, I was immediately drawn to the 3 step blackhead remover set* while browsing the site. The fact that it had 3 steps made it more interesting. The package comes in a colourful box with instructions on the back. Unfortunately the instructions are not in English but the pictures made it easy to understand the application steps. If the pictures are not clear enough, you can always go to the site as there is a lot of information about the product in English. The product information states that it has plant extracts which are natural and gentle. It's main use is to remove dirt from the surface of the skin and clean out pores while also repairing the skin.

So how do you use this? First off, wash your face with a cleanser using warm water. The first step is the export blackhead bottle that has liquid essence. Pour a small amount of the product onto a cotton pad a swipe over the desired area and then leave the liquid for around 10 minutes. This step will help to surface the blackheads to make it easier for the mask to pull.

The second step is the black face mask. It has quite a sticky and gooey consistency so be careful when applying. But with that said, it can be easily removed using warm water. To apply simply spread a suitable amount over the desired area using your fingers. The mask will dry completely after 10 to 20 minutes. When the mask has fully dried, simply peel off slowly.

The third and last step is a gel that closes up the pores and makes them look smaller in appearance. Apply a small amount of this over the area and massage into the skin. It dries up quickly and doesn't leave any residue.

What is my final say about this product? Although it was a fun mask to apply I felt that it did not pull out all of my blackheads and left behind many of the larger ones. But it did leave my skin feeling very soft and I believe that this is because it pulled off the dead skin on the surface. So a big thumbs up for that. If you are interested in trying out the 3 step blackhead remover, then head over to Banggood and pick it up for £4.29 only.

What is your favourite way to remove blackheads?

  2. Sounds like an interesting product! I always love seeing if these types of masks work! I find nothing works as well as the biore strips for me though! Those make everything look nice and clear on my nose!
I love the post and your photography is great!

  4. This kit sounded super interesting, it's a shame it didn't actually remove the blackheads! It seems a bit too long and tedious to use just to soften the skin, even if that's a positive point. Maybe if you use it more you'll see a difference!
