Adding further to my last post, I'm longing for Spring weather and the weather is still all over the place. Just this morning my friends and I went for a walk, and half way through it started to rain. After getting soaked we had to go back home and resorted to curling up in a warm blanket and watched Narnia!
Weather talk aside, a few months ago I met up with the lovely Intan Galistri after having a chat on Instagram (@intangalistri). Intan is an Indonesian visual artist currently living in Malta who creates beautiful and intricate accessories such as pendants, necklaces and earrings. Besides making hand made accessories, she also paints and draws, mostly working with the human figure.
Intan gifted me these two gorgeous handmade chokers to feature on What Sarah Writes. The two chokers were packaged in a pretty blue box and wrapped inside a gold pouch. Both chokers have a unique handmade pendant hanging on a ribbon, one sparkly white and another on purple lace.
I was very impressed when I opened up the boxes to see the chokers. As you can see from the photos, the pendants are definitely a show stopper and they are so intricately made. The faces seem lifelike, almost like they are taking a nap! The daisies around the faces and the gold details all add to make the pendants even more beautiful. I'm so in love with these chokers and I think that they are perfect to wear during spring. The flowers really give off a sunny and warm feel!
Giveaway
Intan was kind enough to gift me two chokers, one for me and one for a lucky reader! Head over to my Facebook page to enter the giveaway and be in the chance to win the white choker necklace. The giveaway will close on the 3rd of April and is open to residents of Malta and Gozo. There will be more international giveaways in the future, don't worry! Good luck everyone!
Once again I thank the lovely Intan for the chokers and for giving me this opportunity. Don't forget to follow her on Instagram and check out her work!
